Our Makerspace Now Equipped with a Brand New 3D Printer Thanks to a Grant

We are delighted to announce a significant upgrade to our maker space – the arrival of the Ultimaker S7 3D printer! This cutting-edge addition is now a part of our creative arsenal, all thanks to a generous grant from the Massachusetts Charitable Mechanic Association (MCMA).

The MCMA, with its storied history of fostering innovation, education, and trade skills, has been instrumental in bringing this advanced technology to the local community. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for their support and shared vision of enhancing educational resources and opportunities for everyone.

The Ultimaker S7 is renowned for its precision and reliability, providing an unparalleled 3D printing experience. With its active bed leveling, dual extrusion, enhanced build plate, and integrated camera for remote monitoring, the Ultimaker S7 can help bring dreams and designs to life.

Access to such technology can transform learning experiences by offering hands-on, practical applications of STEM subjects, art, and design. In this spirit, we are thrilled to make the Ultimaker S7 available to the community. Whether you are an educator, a student, a hobbyist, or a professional designer, this printer is here for you to bring your digital designs to life. We are eager to see how this technology will inspire and educate everyone using it. If you are interested in learning more about 3D printing and using the printer please get in touch with us or attend one of our open houses. https://www.capecodmakers.org/contact
