In a little over three weeks, Cape Cod Makers--with the help of over 80 volunteers--3D printed, assembled and donated 5,000 face shields to Cape Cod Healthcare.
Thank you to all the volunteers and donors that made this happen. Also, thank you to Cape Cod Medical Reserve Corps, who provided their expertise and logistical support to deliver the face shields to healthcare workers.
The response to the COVID-19 Call to Action was people at their best. A network of 3D printer enthusiasts, volunteers, and donors rose to the occasion to help solve part of the PPE shortage problem. This community overcame the challenges imposed by the pandemic to produce critically-needed face shields for our healthcare workers. Thank you again to everyone who has participated and supported this effort!
